Meeting Union J

On the 28th of September 2013 at 5:58pm i met Union J. It was literally one of the best moments of my life. You might have guessed but I am a huge Union J fan and i was lucky enough to find out about a book signing in Milton Keynes which is only 10 minutes from where i live. We got up at 5:30 in the morning to go get wristbands but it was so worth it!!!!

We started queuing for the signing at 3pm and for pretty much that whole time i was in tears :p

All of them !!!!

Genuinally one of the best days of my life.

George gave me a hug because i was crying so much, Josh gave me a high five and a hug , Jaymi called me babe & JJ winked at me!!!!

It was actually so so good!!!!!

All Those Years Ago

That's right! It's time for the Throwback Tag.

1. What year were you born?
I was born in 1998 which makes me 15 years old.

2. Do you have any pictures of yourself from when you were younger? If so, show them.
Oh dear. You don't know how much I want to say no to this question. But here you are :/
WARNING AWFUL HAIR ALERT.
Yep. there you go. I was about 8 when this picture was taken and i was on holiday in Portugal.

3. What did you watch on Nickelodean when you were growing up?
In the UK we didn't have Nickelodean unless you payed loads for sky or something. The channels we had were CBBC and CITV. My favourite Citv programme was either, My Parent's Are Aliens or Sabrina the Teenage Witch. My Favourite Cbbc programme was Tracy Beaker.

4. What did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was a little girl I always wanted to be a Pet Sitter or , as I called it, a petist ( :/ ). I was always mad about animals.

5. Show a video of you when you were younger.
Don't think i have any. Sorry!

6. What were your favourite toys?
To be honest , I mostly liked to be imaginative and make up games of my own. But, i did love my Bear Factory ( Build-A-Bear now :p) bears. :)

7. What's the most embarassing moment of your childhood?
I'm not really surre but probably the many times I called my teacher Mum. Once i called my female teacher dad i think :/

8. Three Songs you loved as a child.
1. 5 Colours In Her Hair - Mcfly
2. Why does it always rain on me? -Travis
3. The Promise - Girls Aloud.

9. One funny thing you dressed up as on Halloween?
I think i went as a Ladybird one year.

10. Scary experience of your childhood?
I once hid in my wardrobe whilst playing hide and seek and the door got jammed. I used to scared of the dark and slightly claustrophobic so this was terrifying for me. I ended up being in there for 2 hours and my dad had to dismantle the wardrobe to rescue me.

So that was Tag Thursday #2. I hope you enjoyed it and i'll see you soon. :)

The Social Hierarchy of Teenage Girls

WARNING : DEEP POST

Before I start, I just want to say that by no means am I trying to offend anyone in the post. I'm simply showing you how I see things at my school and other local schools.

In every school there is a social hierarchy of teenage girls. Fact. They seem to be different wherever you go but this is how i see my school.

Right at the top you have what i call "the mean populars" . These people are generally popular amongst themselves and think everyone loves them but in actual fact people think they are bitches etc. They are the type of people that'll throw a party on a whim and get pissed all the time because they think it's cool. They likely wear skirts that bareley cover their arse and an inch of make-up. They look down at people any lower down the hierachy and think they are more superior and therfore do what they want. Bullies tend to come under this catergory too.  No one knows what makes these people "popular" because to be honest they are not popular because most of the people lower down don't like them at all.

Next you have "the nice populars" . These girls are popular because people like them. They are slightly lower down the ladder than the mean populars but they have the advantage of people actually liking them. Granted, these girls do tend to still have drama , parties and ridiculosly short skirts but i mean nobodies perfect. They are nice to those lower down the ladder than them when they come across them. But they won't go out of their way to talk to you. Only if you are the only one to talk to. If you pass them in the corridors they probably won't say anything to you. These girls are likely to be prom queen etc.

Here we have the "wannabe populars" . These girls may or may not have been popular in the past but now fall into this category. They tend to be the drug addicts and generally annoying people. The ones that have been popoular before have normally had an argument with the rest of the populars which has left them clinging onto the popular life that used to be instead of just accepting it and moving on, often leading them to drugs but not always. The one who haven't been popular before just want to be and so dress, act etc. just like the populars in hope of sneaking in. These girls tend to be horrible to you.

This is where i think i fit into this. "lower groups" . These are the people who don't aspire to be popular or anything but simply are content with the group of friends they have at that present moment. They just have a laugh and don't care about what people think. I think this is the best group to be in because why would you spend your life trying to be popular or maintain your popular status.  Granted, the girls in this group can be bitchy when they want to be. I'm not saying that the girls in this group are perfect but i just think it's better.

Right of the bottom we have "the misfits". There are hardly any of these at my school but from what i have heard from other schools this is a catergory. So, for your benefit, i will include it. These are the girls who don't really seem to fit in anywhere. I feel sorry for these girls and encourage anyone who feels they are in this group to pluck up the courage to go and make friends some people. I promise you that if you just be yourself people will accept you for who you are.

Please Do Not be offended by this post. I'm by no means saying that this is what every school is like this or that you have to be in one of these groups because you don't. :)

The Best Days of Summer

Hello!

For me, Summer 2013 was overall very good. Tbh, not as great as i thought it would be as many of my friends were on holiday for the majority of the break. But when we did get together it was great! I warn you now that this will probably be a very long blog post.

1. Aimee's 15th Sleepover.
From left : Aimee, Ella, Charli, Lily, Lizzy, Me , Phoebe
Aimee's party was literally the last day of school and so it was a great start to the break. It was 26 hours full of laughs, Just Dance, Miranda and Ritz Biscuits (don't ask). Quote of the day was : "Aimee, i've peeled uranus to make a volleyball!" Haha. Despite dominoes pizza not delivering all the food and me and Phoebe breaking the swing, It was a really good day!

2. My Party.
From left : Sara, Phoebe, Nushie, Ella, Lizzy, Charli, Phoebe, Me
My party was at snozone and we went ice-sliding. It was one of the last days when the majority of my friends were available which was nice. Please excuse my face, the spazzy helmets and the fact that lizzy isn't even looking the right way :p

3. Ella's Party.
From left : Me, Charli, Phoebe, Ella, Lizzy
You may have noticed that many of my friend's have birthdays in summer. It's creepy how close together they are. Ella's party was a smaller affair with just her close friends, which was so nice. We had a cute little picnic and went paddling in the river. It was really nice with just the 5 of us. "Lizzy, just remember you could strangle a chicken with that top"

4. Thorpe Park.
From left : Me, Bryony, Sophie
Different group of friend this time. These are my primary school friends. I like to meet up with them often so that i don't lose touch. Anna was also here but she was taking the picture :( This day was such a laugh and i still can't believe we managed to get Bryony on Detonater (she hates rides) . It was such a good day and we're already planning to do it again next summer :)

So, those are my best days of summer. There were so many more days that was just as brilliant. But these are the ones that stand out in my memory as a-m-a-z-i-n-g!

Yours Sincerely,
Mhairi

The New Girl In Town

Hiya! Welcome to my new blog! You'll have to bear with me while I get the hang of it but I hope this'll become a regular thing. I doubt this blog will be interesting, amusing to you or worth spending 5 minutes to read but I’ve wanted to blog for a while now and I figured that now was a good a time as any to start. So here I am, writing the first post for my blog. Please check out Louise's Blog . She is who inspired me to start this blog and she is so amazing.

Who is Louise?
Louise (Sprinkle of Glitter) is a Youtuber who makes videos about beauty and just her life in general. She is a fabby blog writer and I love her to bits. I admire her courage and hope that one day I could be as brave and fun-loving as her. I watch several other youtubers but Louise will always be my favourite as she is the one that I found first when browsing Youtube one day. I saw her Theme Park Fun video and from then on I just watched more and more of her videos and became hooked. Because of Louise I now spend a large majority of my life when I’m not at school or out refreshing my subscription box waiting for a video to pop up from Louise or the rest of the crew. This may be sad but I find their video's comforting and they help me to de-stress if I’ve been having a bad day. Thank you Louise if you ever read this. :)

So yeah, I will mainly just blog about whatever happens in my life. Nothing special but I think it'll help me de-wind and keep track of my life. So much funny stuff happens, especially with my group of friends, and we always end up forgetting most of it. So if you into that sort of thing then please keep reading. If not, then sorry for wasting your time.

Oh dear. This introduction post seems to have taken a turn for the worst. I'm meant to be persuading you to read my blog. Instead I have advertised Louise's blog and apologised for wasting your time. I promise Louise hasn't paid me to write this. Haha.

If you’re still reading then congratulations! Have a gold star! Thank you For Taking the time to read this blog post and I look forward to writing more in the future.

Yours Sincerely,
The New Girl
